Advice to take your project to the next level.
I have been into cars for as long as I can remember. I think I was 8yrs old when I got to experience my dad firing up a new race motor for his Chevy Nova that he had been working on for a while. After firing it up for the first time, I was hooked. Once I turned 14, I bought my first car, which was a 1995 Del Sol. I had looked at many muscle cars before I bought the Del Sol, but I needed something more reliable, and thought I was making a better decision by buying a newer car that got better fuel mileage and would be a more practical year round. LOL. Little did I know I would mess that up very quickly. So I bought the Del Sol and did some simple modifications, intake, exhaust, short shifter. Then things started to escalate. It got a motor swap, then a turbo kit, then a bigger turbo, then a bigger fuel system and so on and so forth. Long story short, my senior year of high school my dad bet me I couldn’t beat him in a race with my import vehicle. So that’s when things started to escalate out of control. I didn’t have much money so had to do everything myself. Which involved lots and lots of learning, and that is how this business started to take shape, I learned all sorts of things that are the base of what we do every day. My Del Sol ended up making 723hp in high school and was a big handful trying to keep it up running. It had a stand-alone ECU in it and if it didn’t run that meant I was walking to school. That is where I started learning the tuning aspect of the business. One week before my dyno appointment my dad got in an accident with the nova and we never actually got to race but that bet is why I am here today doing what I love. After graduating high school I went to UTI in Avondale, Arizona to get my associated degree in Automotive, Diesel, Industrial Technology. When I got back, I worked at a few different shops for about 3 years. It got to the point I was working on customer cars 40 plus hours a week and was getting more and more burnt out with the common maintenance work on normal cars. I decided to take a huge leap and start my own automotive performance business. We started out with $2500 bucks, a lift, some tools, and a whole lot of drive. There has been many difficulties along the road to grow this business but I am happy and thankful for where we are now and looking forward to the future. My main goal is customer satisfaction and a pleasant experience. That is why we treat every car we work on as if it was our own, and strive to do everything in our power to meet the customers goals for their vehicle as cost effectively as possible.
I am very happy with my car after bringing it here to be tuned. The guys did great job tuning my car, and always asked me before they would turn up the boost or make hard pulls. They gave me a lot of good advice on how to continue building my car, and stayed very professional throughout the process. I have complete confidence in them tuning my car in the future.

Great experience at Sandbeck Race Development. They have an AWD Mustang dyno and are well versed in tuning various applications. From turbo charged LS motors all the way to NA Hondas. They built the motor and transmission in my current NASA TT Honda Civic, and also tuned the car via AEM EMS and it has ran flawlessly. Do not hesitate to ask them any questions about your build or tuning your application. Highly recommended!
